Donna, understanding her distress, began to gently coax her with food and soothing words. “I knelt down to make myself less intimidating and started talking to her gently. I threw a sausage her way, and she hesitantly ate it,” Donna explained.

When she reached me, she nuzzled into my shirt, then rolled over and looked up at me with such an expression of trust,” Donna shared, still amazed by the transformation.
