When a determined group of rescuers arrived at the construction site of a new animal shelter, they expected it to be just another day on the job. However, their routine quickly turned extraordinary when they noticed something lying on the ground upon entering the site.
The Little Puppy in Need
Upon closer inspection, the rescuers discovered a small puppy, looking very weak and frail. It was clear that someone had thrown this sick pup over the fence, likely thinking that the rescuers would take care of him. This reckless act could have seriously injured the puppy. But instead of dwelling on the irresponsibility of the act, the rescuers sprang into action to help the little guy.

Quick Action Saves the Day
The rescuers immediately noticed that the puppy was too exhausted to sit up. He was crying continuously and seemed to have trouble breathing. Fortunately, one of the rescuers was also a veterinarian. He quickly administered IV fluids to rehydrate the puppy and prepared antibiotics to treat any infections.
A New Arrival
While the rescuers were attending to the sick puppy, a woman approached them with another puppy in her hands. She explained that she could not take care of the pup and did not want him to be abandoned. The rescuers, not wanting to see another puppy in distress, took him in as well. Unlike the first puppy, this new arrival was in perfect health and had a voracious appetite.

The team took the sick puppy to a veterinary clinic for a thorough checkup. The vets determined that the puppy was suffering from hypothermia and had internal parasites. The brave little pup was given all the necessary medications to regain his health and start recovering.
Helping the Puppy Heal
Due to his hypothermia, the puppy couldn’t regulate his body temperature on his own. The vets used a blowdryer to warm him up gradually. Once he was a bit warmer, he received additional medication and a nutritious meal. Within just three days under the care of the rescuers, the puppy began to show signs of recovery.

The puppy, now named Bebe, loves being cuddled and massaged. This not only keeps him warm but also reassures him that he is loved and cared for. The daily treatment of antibiotics and the constant affection helped Bebe recover quickly.

Bebe has also made some furry friends. He enjoys spending time with the other puppy rescued the same day and a couple of adorable cats at the shelter. Despite his progress, Bebe still has a long way to go on his road to recovery.
