After several days of receiving medical care and unconditional affection from the veterinary staff, Avalanche was ready to move to a foster home—a temporary stop on his journey to finding a permanent family. His foster mother showered him with the love and warmth he had missed during his time on the streets, aiding significantly in his recovery.
