Bolo Becomes a Local Hero
In November, Bolo was officially welcomed into the police force at a ceremony attended by the mayor, who declared him Hopkinsville Police Department’s first Paw-trol Officer. This new role made Bolo a local celebrity.
Marfil’s office soon became a popular spot, not for police matters but for people who wanted to meet the famous Bolo. Visitors often forgot it was Marfil’s office, so frequent were their visits just to say hello to Bolo.

Marfil noted that Bolo had a knack for lightening the mood: “If he hears any sort of wrapper crinkling, he’s immediately there, hoping it’s something for him,” she laughed.
