Arnold’s Story: From Fear to Love

Thankfully, a compassionate family took Arnold in temporarily and reached out to Hope For Paws, a rescue organization in California. They swiftly came to Arnold’s aid. Foxy and the Hounds, another rescue group, took him under their wing, with Terri Fox, the founder, fostering him.
When Terri first met Arnold, she realized he needed time to heal. He was so frightened that he wouldn’t let her pet him and would even snap if her hand got too close.
Building Trust
Despite Arnold’s initial fear, Terri didn’t give up. She spent time with him every day, feeding him, providing comfort, and creating a safe space. Slowly but surely, Arnold started to trust her.
