In the bustling streets of South Chicago, Kaia, a pregnant stray dog, lay vulnerable and exposed. Her eyes scanned the faces of those passing by, hoping for someone to see her need and extend a helping hand. Rescue of a Sweet Soon-to-Be Mom
Josh Feeney, a volunteer with MCP Rescue & Outreach in Chicago, became the hero Kaia needed. After receiving a call from a Good Samaritan, Feeney’s friend rescued Kaia, bringing her into the safety of foster care. Josh didn’t hesitate to welcome her into his home, offering her the warmth and security she had longed for on the streets.
