Also, when he’s barking in the yard, we can’t call him inside, so we might seem like uncaring dog parents, but that’s not the case.”
Interestingly, Mordecai has a specific dislike for huskies. According to Lauren, “He barks at them so fiercely; it’s almost like a scream from a horror movie. He’s louder than he realizes, but we manage.”
Despite these quirks, Mordecai is an incredibly smart dog. He has learned sign language, which he uses to communicate with Lauren and Harrison.
