The poor dog was trembling violently. “She was shaking and shivering so badly,” Lisa explained. But as soon as Lisa offered some gentle touches and managed to secure a leash around Cammi, the dog seemed to understand that she was in safe hands. Cammi willingly walked to Lisa’s truck and hopped in. Once inside, she snuggled into a large blanket on the back seat, with the seat warmers adding an extra layer of comfort. Finally feeling secure, Cammi relaxed and slept all the way to Lisa’s home.

Back at Lisa’s, Cammi slowly began to adjust to her new surroundings. But if not, she’ll go to a foster home to continue her journey,” Lisa added, hopeful for Cammi’s future.
