When Hamoon first welcomed Cheddar, a rescue Chihuahua, into his home, he had no idea that this tiny pup would turn out to be a natural heart-stealer!

Cheddar, formerly known as Gordon, had a challenging start. He was cautious and reserved when he first came to his new home, taking his time to adjust. But once he settled in, he began showing his true colors.

“He’s kind of funny looking, with multiple chins and eyes that make him look like an old man,” Hamoon explains. “When people see him, they’re instantly mesmerized.”
The most heartwarming aspect of Cheddar’s personality is his constant, peaceful demeanor. He seems perpetually calm and unbothered, lounging on his favorite couch spot, fully enjoying life.
“He appears so unaffected by everything,” his owner remarks, a smile in his voice.
Living the Carefree Life
Before Cheddar joined the family, Hamoon had another Chihuahua named Churro for about two years. Churro was shy and reserved, but Cheddar’s arrival changed everything.
Hamoon noticed a significant decrease in Churro’s anxiety and timidity. “She found comfort in playing with him, sleeping next to him. I often catch her grooming him,” he says.
It seemed as though Churro sensed her new brother’s rough past and treated him with extra gentleness. Cheddar, in turn, helped Churro with her anxiety. Together, they created a new chapter in their lives, one where they became inseparable.
Their playtime is a sight to behold. Whenever Cheddar chases after a toy, Churro is right behind him, initiating a playful session. Even when Churro gently bites on Cheddar’s neck rolls during their playful skirmishes, he doesn’t mind at all.
This adorable, chill pup found his life’s purpose after being adopted by Hamoon, which is to spread joy and laughter to everyone around him.
