The Birth of the Puppies
Two weeks after her arrival, Denali went into labor. Amanda was by her side throughout the birth process, which saw Denali delivering one puppy after another, with each arrival spaced about 15 to 20 minutes apart. By the end, Denali had brought 11 new lives into the world—a testament to her strength and resilience.

Naming the Puppies
Amanda decided to name each of the puppies after national parks, a tribute to their strong and adventurous spirits. The puppies were named Rocky, Yosi, Baddie, Sequoia, Jasper, Boone, Archie, Raini, Kenai, Acadia, and Zion. Each name was chosen to reflect the beauty and uniqueness of these new beings.

Located in Illinois, this non-profit organization focuses on rescuing abused, abandoned, and neglected animals, continuing Amanda’s lifelong commitment to giving animals a second chance at life.
